Illuvium: Zero is a city builder game that immerses players in the task of building up their land, mining for resources, and discovering blueprints, all within a blockchain-based play-and-own framework. Available on both mobile and PC, this game offers a unique experience that blends strategy, resource management, and the thrill of creating an empire from the ground up.

Gameplay

Every player begins with a plot of land, which is the foundation of their empire. The land plots in Illuvium: Zero are tiered from 1 to 5, with Tier 1 being the most common and Tier 5 being the rarest and most productive. Your primary goal is to optimize your land to efficiently gather elements, which are crucial for powering extraction mechanisms to produce fuel.

The game revolves around two key resources: Elements and Fuel. Elements include Carbon, Hydrogen, and Silicon, each vital for different aspects of the game. For example, Carbon is necessary to produce Solon fuel cells, which are essential for crafting and upgrading equipment. The fuels - Crypton, Hyperion, and Solon - are integral for various activities in the Illuvium Overworld, such as traveling, capturing Illuvials, and crafting.

Blueprints

The Gateway to NFTsBlueprints represent a thrilling aspect of Illuvium Zero, allowing players to convert in-game skins for weapons and armor into NFTs. To find blueprints, you must scan for Illuvial biodata using a Singularity Scanner and research it in the Materials Lab. These blueprints can be highly scarce, adding an element of rarity and value to your finds.

Each land plot is unique, requiring a tailored strategy for resource and element management. Balancing Carbon, Hydrogen, and Silicon is crucial for steady gameplay, and this balance can be further optimized with Power Stations.

Free-to-Play vs. Pay-to-Play
