Overview

Ashes of Mankind is a multiplayer game that combines tactical shooting with resource management and PvP combat. Both sides of the game influence one another, with resources in Empires supporting the combat efforts in Citadels. Game Lore

In the world of Ashes of Mankind, society has broken down, with corporations controlling most of what's left. The Consortium, a group of powerful corporations, runs the show, and their headquarters, the Citadel, is where much of the action takes place. Mercenaries and scavengers fight for survival and dominance in the Citadel's dangerous structure, while those in Empires manage the resources that fuel the conflict. Players can either be on the front lines in the Citadel, battling for survival, or behind the scenes in Empires, controlling the production and trade of essential goods.

Gameplay and Features

The Citadel (PvP Extraction FPS)

In Citadels, the gameplay revolves around survival in a PvP extraction-based FPS. Players navigate the dangerous fortress of the Citadel, where every floor harbors enemies, rival factions, and valuable loot. Scavenging for gear, players must outwit and outfight their competitors to survive and ascend the ranks.

Players can acquire gear by looting fallen enemies or purchasing items from the open marketplace, with their equipment affecting their combat performance. However, losing a battle means losing gear, forcing players to start over with a weaker loadout. Success in the game isn't solely about combat skills, players must use strategy and tactics to outsmart their opponents, navigate dangerous areas, and decide whether to form alliances or betray others for personal gain.

Empires (Strategy and Economy)

Empires focuses on resource management and economic strategy. Players can establish their own Corporation, mining valuable resources, crafting weapons, and dominating trade markets. Corporations operate in an open economy where natural resources are key to success. The production lines support the battles happening in the Citadel, making the two games work together and connected.

Players have the ability to build their Corporation from scratch, managing production and selling items to those battling in the Citadel. The game features a competitive marketplace where players can set prices for the goods they manufacture, including weapons, armor, and cosmetics. Additionally, owning a land in the game allows access to important raw materials like steel, gold, and oil, which are essential for crafting and maintaining a strong presence in the game's economy.
