Game Overview
“Big Time” is a free-to-play, multiplayer action RPG game that offers fast-paced combat and an adventure across time and space. Players can explore ancient mysteries and futuristic civilizations, engaging in battles throughout history. The game allows for the acquisition of rare collectibles such as loot, cosmetics, and tokens while defeating enemies. These collectibles can be traded and utilized to personalize avatars and metaverse spaces. Players can expand their metaverse and production capabilities with SPACE, participating in the in-game creator economy. “Big Time” offers limitless environments and adventure instances, providing infinite gameplay possibilities for players.
In-game Economy
Players can have a Personal Metaverse in Big Time, which they can enter and decorate at any time, with an Initial Area as the initial connection point. Using SPACE, players can expand their Metaverse, connect to Workshops (Forge, Armory, and Timekeeper), place decorations, invite friends, and acquire the Hourglass of Rifts. Hourglasses are collectibles crafted by Timekeepers and are a great way to acquire $BIGTIME tokens.
In-game resources include Time Crystals, $BIGTIME Tokens, Decoration Pieces, Bonus Roll Chips, and Skin Dust, and various resources play an important role in the crafting economy. Decorative collectibles enhance the player’s appearance with weapon and armor decorations, both crafted and uncraftable. Prestige Portals increase drop rates, and Workshop Mystery Chests contain Workshop loot, the amount and type of which depends on the type of chest. Together, these elements make up the rich gameplay and features of the Big Time game world.

Equipment is a way to increase survivability and combat power, and equipment with higher rarity (or “higher” rarity) is better than equipment with lower rarity. In Big Time, the level, tier, and requirements of equipment affect its strength and usefulness. The higher the equipment tier, the better attributes the player receives. Equipment requirements include conditions such as minimum levels, specific attributes, abilities, or level prerequisites that players must meet to use the equipment. Paying attention to these factors when equipping items in the game is crucial to optimizing your character’s abilities and combat potential.

The Pocket Watches comes with a character and inventory. Characters allow the user to choose their favorite style of play, and also give the user the flexibility to play the most desired class for their team.

At Big Time, the main design principle is fair play, which is why Big Time has built its economy as a “skins-based economy”.
In contrast, in a typical free skins economy, such as League of Legends, Fortnite, or Brave, game studios sell skins directly to players. In Big Time, however, players are empowered to make skins and control the production and sale of in-game skins.

Big Time’s skins emphasize a player’s status and personality. As a multiplayer action role-playing game, it provides an ideal platform for showcasing players’ unique possessions.All of Big Time’s skins are digital collectibles with a limited and unchanging supply, meaning that there is a fixed number of decorations in any collection and the numbers never change. All skins will also be owned by the player, meaning that players will always be able to trade or sell them, both on Open Loot and off Big Time’s platform.
Finally, owning skins gives players access to exclusive areas of the game, which can be exclusive lounges or portals with different non-power related loot tables. (that do not affect game balance)
● Making Skins: Players can participate in the skin economy by acquiring space and functional NFTs (e.g., Furnace, Armory, Timekeeper). Spaces are the virtual lands of Big Time, while functional NFTs are places that enable skin making.

1. $BIGTIME Token Design
The Hourglass of Time is a limited supply item that, once equipped, allows players to start earning $BIGTIME tokens as they play the game.
The dynamics of supply and demand for $BIGTIME tokens depend on Big Time’s player base. $BIGTIME is a cryptocurrency that acts as the glue of the Big Time economy. Since hourglasses of time are in limited supply, only a fixed number of players can equip them at any given moment, regardless of the number of active players.
On the other hand, any player can spend $BIGTIME tokens, meaning that the potential loss of $BIGTIME tokens is limited only by the number of players in a Big Time game.
The dynamic created by these two systems is that if the player base grows, the supply of $BIGTIME tokens is limited and never changes, but the value of $TIME tokens grows as the player base grows.
2. The Value Chain of Big Time’s Economy
● Time guards create hourglasses of time.
● Big Time vendors need Hourglasses, they will equip them and start generating $BIGTIME tokens.
● Big Time’s Armory and Forge owners need $BIGTIME tokens, they need tokens to make skins and collectibles.
● Skins will be listed on Big Time’s marketplace for all players to purchase.
