Game Lore

In the Abysswalkers universe, every living thing has a soul, a divine spark central to its existence. The Ethereal Transit Authority (ETA) oversees the transportation of souls to the Ethereal Plane, a role assigned by Nazuul, the God of Death. This duty emerged from a history where gods, known as Astrals, ruled and interacted with life across the universe. Over time, Nazuul created Heralds to help manage souls, as the universe grew chaotic with the rise of powerful Ancients and their advanced Runic Technology.

The Ancients' technological advancements, including inter-dimensional travel, brought unforeseen dangers, such as Daemons from the Abyss. In response, Nazuul and his Heralds waged a devastating war against these Daemons, culminating in a cataclysmic event known as the "God Bomb" that nearly annihilated all life. Despite the destruction, new life eventually emerged from the ruins, giving rise to the Grims, beings without souls but sustained by the very Voidmatter that once threatened all existence. This new epoch, marked by the existence of the Grims, reshaped the cosmic order and set the stage for the tactical battles in Abysswalkers.

Gameplay and Features

Players can open packs to collect a variety of Daemon and Rune cards, each with unique abilities and characteristics.
